Project Description

Located within Honolulu's historic Punchbowl Crater, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific spans approximately 112 acres and is one of the nation's most recognized military memorial sites. The crater, known as Pūowaina, is commonly called "Punchbowl" because of its bowl-shaped volcanic formation.

As a sacred place of remembrance, the cemetery's grounds are visited by families, veterans, and the public throughout the year. Maintaining the grounds with care is an important part of showing respect for those who are honored at the site. Reliable irrigation infrastructure helps keep the cemetery's extensive landscaping healthy and well cared for.

The DWS-PRV combines pressure regulation with solenoid-operated control, allowing irrigation zones to operate automatically while maintaining controlled downstream pressure. Its slow-to-open and slow-to-close operation helps reduce pressure surges and water hammer.
