Nestled in the heart of Reno, the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino stands as a symbol of opulence, comfort, and entertainment. Offering 1,621 guest rooms—including the 600-room all-suite Tuscany Tower—this resort delivers an unmatched guest experience across its spa, casino, restaurants, pools, fitness center, and bars.

Currently, the resort is undergoing a significant renovation of the Peppermill Tower rooms, enhancing guest comfort with modern amenities and contemporary designs.

Project Implementation

The renovation focused on delivering a high-performance HVAC system capable of maintaining comfort across all rooms, 24/7. Griswold Controls’ Automizer valves integrate the functions of an actuated ball valve and a flow limiting valve, providing precise flow regulation for each coil in the system.

Signals from the building automation system (BAS) control the Automizer valves, allowing consistent temperature and comfort levels regardless of pressure fluctuations. This approach ensures every guest experiences the same premium comfort, while optimizing energy use and system efficiency.
