Disney Concert Hall
The Concert Hall was designed by Frank Gehry, an internationally recognized architect whose many credits include the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain and the American Center in Paris. The ceiling of the building features wavy, steel forms which are designed to appear like a ship with billowing sails at full mast.
CBS Studios
CBS Studios faced a daunting challenge controlling cooling capacity in their Manhattan sound and TV studios. Manual balancers struggled due to multiple pumps and partial VFD control, making temperature control unreliable. Griswold Controls was contracted to provide a solution.
Wynn Las Vegas Resort
The most recent – and stunning – addition to the southern Nevada skyline is the new Wynn Las Vegas Resort. Built at a cost of $2.7 billion dollars and opened in April 2005, the 50-story bronze tower contains 2,700 luxury hotel rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, 22 restaurants, the 2,000 seat “Aqua Theater-in-the-Round,” and the “Promenade” with luxury boutique shopping.
W Hotel & Victory Park
Located in the heart of Dallas, just north of the downtown business district in a formerly unusable inner city site, Victory Park is one of the country’s most significant master planned urban developments. The project began with the construction of the American Airlines Center Arena in late 2000, home of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and the Dallas Stars hockey team.
Hotel Monteleone
Located in the heart of the French Quarter, the 15-story Beaux-Arts landmark Hotel Monteleone required a major HVAC retrofit while remaining fully operational. The property includes over 600 guest rooms and had to maintain comfort, aesthetics, and revenue during renovation.
Hotel InterContinental
During the renovation, more than 500 fan coils were replaced in North Tower guest rooms. Units were installed above the ceiling in the entry vestibule of the rooms, leaving only 12" of vertical space for the manual balancing system. Tobin Stanley of Bovis Lend Lease contacted Griswold Controls to provide pre-assembled coil piping packages with Automizer® combination control valves, saving space and labor during installation.
Vancouver International Airport Domestic Terminal
In the fall of 2005 Vancouver Airport Authority had a number of difficult and challenging problems to overcome. First, they were facing comfort issues in various areas of the Domestic Terminal, and they were not able to consistently achieve comfort set points. In addition, Airport Authority staff were seeing low ΔT – a system originally designed for 5.6° C (10° F) was operating at 3.3 to 4.4° C (6–8° F), thereby causing very high energy consumption.
Joaquin Murrieta Park
The City of Tucson has embarked on an ambitious renovation project for Joaquin Murrieta Park, an iconic green space on the city’s westside. A community hub for decades, the park has served as a recreational destination for families, sports enthusiasts, and residents alike.
Zoetis Vivarium Expansion
A global leader in animal health has completed a major expansion on the west side of Lincoln, Nebraska. The 1.4-million-square-foot facility spans 145 acres—roughly twice the area of the Vatican—and serves as a critical hub for veterinary pharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing.

Hostess Brands Facility
Donut, doughnut, or…Gefüllte Krapfen? Sounds like a sneeze, right? Schools teach us a lot of important things, but this might be a history lesson you don’t know: the donut, as we know it today, was originally named by the Germans, thus we have the “Gefüllte Krapfen!” Later, a more modern version was published in an English cookbook as a “dow nut.”

L&I/WSDA Safety and Health Lab
The L&I/WSDA Safety and Health Lab Training Center is a state-of-the-art facility, offering 53,154 square feet dedicated to food safety, hazardous chemical testing, offices, and conference rooms. The design includes electric vehicle charging stations, high-efficiency water fixtures, low-energy LED lighting, and systems to minimize nighttime light pollution.
Aquarium of the Pacific – Otter Surrogacy
Over 11,000 animals representing 500 species inhabit the Aquarium of the Pacific, with exhibits ranging from 5,000 to 350,000 gallons. Recognized for sustainability, the aquarium is Platinum LEED-certified and has earned Green Globes certifications, reflecting its commitment to energy efficiency and ecological stewardship.
Winthrop Center
Massachusetts is home to world-class institutions and historic landmarks such as MIT, Fenway Park, and the site of the Boston Tea Party. Winthrop Center now joins that list as one of the city’s most impressive modern developments, standing as the 4th tallest building in Boston.
GM Lordstown Electric Battery Plant
What do Grand Central Station, Ellis Island, and the grounds of the U.S. Capitol all have in common? They are each smaller than the massive 2.8-million-square-foot GM Electric Battery Plant built in Lordstown, Ohio.
Bentall Skyrise
33 stories, 403ft (122.83m), and a terrace that would even make the 1% blush. The renderings alone are astonishing. The Bentall Skyrise will occupy 14th place for the tallest building in Vancouver. The HVAC system is designed to match the grand vision, featuring triple glazing for efficiency and noise reduction, and glass solar shading to maximize natural light while minimizing glare.
Olympic Regional Development
With so much history having taken place inside these walls, this building cannot be considered an ordinary building. Hallways adorned with plaques and banners displaying achievements of Olympians past, an infamous skating oval where many international and Olympic events have been hosted, and perhaps most importantly where the “Miracle on Ice” took place.
First National Bank Tower
The First National Bank Tower dominates the Omaha skyline, standing thirteen stories taller than the next tallest building in the city. At the time of its construction, it became the tallest building in a six-state region and remains the tallest tower between Denver, Colorado and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Erie Insurance Building
Erie Insurance Headquarters’ new office building is LEED-certified, environmentally friendly and will have four larger floors and three, smaller tower floors. It will be the largest building on ERIE's campus, housing up to 1,200 employees. The Erie Insurance Home Office expansion consists of a new seven-story building with impressive amenities.
Metro Wastewater
The Metro Wastewater Reclamation District is the wastewater treatment authority for much of metropolitan Denver and parts of northern Colorado. We are committed to protecting the environment and providing for the community’s future needs.
Deleware County Judicial Building
Delaware County has a new courthouse nearing construction as it continues to invest in the northern section of Delaware’s downtown. Plans call for demolition of the historic but vacant Elks Lodge the county has owned for nine years at 110 N. Sandusky Street to make way for the $32 million, 82,000-square-foot Delaware County Judicial Building.
Clemson University
Located at the entrance to Clemson University along SC Highway 93, the Douthit Hills Development project will provide approximately 1,650 new student beds and a mixed Retail and Student Amenities facility at its center. The project consists of 4 buildings and used over 1,000 coil pipe packages total on the job.
